Terri Daly, Amador County administrative officer since 2007, has tendered her resignation, effective July 23. In a press release issued Wednesday, Daly said, “It is with a mixture of sadness and excitement that I submit my letter of resignation.”

Amador County Public Works announced this morning that due to this week’s forecast for snow, Bear River Road will be unable to open. The road at the gate before the spillway, and Pardoes Road to the summer cabins, will be closed for the Memorial Day weekend.

A meeting of the Amador County Historical Society and an event put on by the Amador County Recreation Agency have been cancelled. The ACHS meeting originally set for tomorrow has been cancelled due to conflict with a car show in downtown Jackson.
